Cowboy poet, historian, and award winning musician and children's author Sid Hausman will perform a family musical program, Overland and Waterways of the West. This recollection of stories and tunes of the different pathways and methods of travel during the westward migrations of the past 200 years will feature 12 string guitar, banjo, harmonica and other folk instruments along with original songs. Hausman's songs and stories reflect his experience with ranching in the rural southwest, as well as the influence of Native American and Hispanic culture on the history of the American west. The program is free and open to the public.
