ARTCORE's weekly music and poetry night will feature Jack and Connie Wallace.
Jack Wallace started playing violin as a 4th grader and has since won the State of Wyoming Old Time Fiddle Championship many times. He has played in a four-piece band, "Wyoming Home Grown," for 20 years. He's especially known for his "trick fiddling" and currently plays in the first violin section of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, of which he's been a member for over 40 years.
Connie Wallace learned to play the harp after the piano, violin and viola. She teaches harp at the University of Wyoming and Casper College. She's the principal harpist and section viola with the WSO, where she's been a member for over 40 years.
