4-H is the largest out-of-school youth development program in the State and nation.

Wyoming 4-H is open to youth ages 8-19.

Wyoming 4-H develops skills by helping young people acquire self-discipline, confidence, the ability to set goals, communication tools, and a better understanding of themselves and others.

4-H involves the whole family and spans across generations.

Wyoming 4-H teaches citizenship by providing youths with real-world experiences, by showing them the importance of volunteering, and by encouraging them to take action and make a difference in their communities.

Wyoming 4-H is not just for kids. There are more than 2,700 volunteer leaders in the 4-H program who provide the guidance, knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm that helps 4-H members as well as communities.

Wyoming 4-H offers something for everyone by showcasing projects in a growing number of fields.

Wyoming 4-H promotes sportsmanship by offering members the opportunity to learn about fair and ethical competition at the county, state and national levels through hands-on experiences.

Wyoming 4-H opens doors to the future by introducing 4-Hers to a variety of activities that can lead to careers in fields such as agriculture, business, education, family and consumer sciences, medicine, natural resources, range management, and wildlife biology.
